Ways to use Vaseline:

Vaseline (petroleum jelly) is a must have, especially in winter, so i thought i would share some amazing ways that you can use this incredibly cheap but amazingly effective product!

1) removing eye makeup
Great for senstive eyes and sutubborn mascra, and hydrates the under eye too!

2) Cure dry cuticles
deeply moisturises and gets rid of annoying hangnails.

3) Extend your perfume
rub a little Vaseline onto your wrists and neck, and your perfume lasts longer throughout the day!

4) Hair shine
it sounds scary, but rub a little throughout the ends o your hair, for shiny, glossy look!

5) Ensure an even tan
rub Vaseline around your knees and elbow to make sure your tan's not patchy ( this is great for the winter as you skin gets dryer in the winter!)

6) DIY cheap exfoliator
Take a scoop to a palmful of salt to create an ultra rich exfoliate! Cheap and cheerful!

7) Eyelash growth treatment
I swear by this, it thickens, lightens and conditions my lashes. Pop on at night, i saw major effects within 5 weeks!

8) pedicure!
Vaseline is a great foot treatment; generously coat your feet in Vaseline and wack on a pair of socks: Tada!

9) lipstick smudges
rub a little over your teeth, and your lipstick wont get on them-this is used alot in pageants!

10) eyebrow tamer
with a clean mascara wand, brush lightly through the brows to get a clean and precise eyebrow shape all day.

11) after shave balm
use like a moisturiser after you shave your legs; super moisturising and very effective!

12) Cure chapped lips
an amazing lip balm that i cannot fault!

Top Autumn/Fall Lipstick <3

So autumn is finally here, (in the UK anyway!), and my favourite part of the colder weather, is warming up your clothing and makeup! I'm going to share with you the lipstick that i love for this time of year, to add that seasonal touch to my everyday look!

M.A.C Rebel lipstick-£14.00

This is a lovely black current toned red that complements a wide range of skin tones. It is a "satin" finish so it is pretty glossy, but also very opaque. Surprisingly i found this lipstick really moisturising, which is perfect for dry and chapped lips (which we all get when its colder!) It can make you teeth look a little yellow, its not a huge problem, and it can easily be solved with a clear gloss with a blue undertone. It can look scary in the pan, but you can blend it out with your fingers and a bit of lip balm!

Hope this helped and thanks for stopping by! <3<3<3<3

MAC eyeshadow... Naked Lunch!

For the perfect neutral eye colour, with a little bit of shimmer, have you tried Naked lunch?
This is such a versatile colour, you can wear it as a highlight, lid colour, or blend it into any neutral or smokey eye look. This definitely has some shimmer to it, but it's nothing overpowering! It is a little expensive at £11.50, but i think it is very much well worth the money!

I love this colour for Autumn, because of it  pinkish undertone, it is very subtle, but adds a lovely warmth to the eye, which makes it so beautiful when it's worn all over the lid on it's own, and a swipe of it under the brow bone!  A cheaper option, that is a really good dupe, is "Wheatshealf" from no.7, which is available from Boots.com and boots stores. It is much more affordable at £7.00!

I have been trying out the "two faced lashlight"mascara, and have loved it! It reminds me of Benefits "They're real" mascara, but gives slightly more volume. This mascara has a "fabric" brush with un-noticeable fibres in the formula, that really help to add length to your lashes. This is a jet black mascara that opens up your eyes, it gives a dramatic effect if you build, but you can achieve a natural look, with 1 coat of mascara! In the UK, you can purchase this mascara from Boots for £16.50, and In the US, you can pick it up at sephora, for $25.00. It has a small light on the handle of the brush, and a mirror on the tube, great or touch ups on the go!

Most worn tag: Summer addition!

1- Most worn nail polish:
My most worn nail polish is from nails inc, and it is called "Chelsea embankment". It is an amazing gold glitter nail polish, it looks beautiful on its own (2-3 coats for an opaque finish) or painted over colours as a glitter topcoat! It my be £11.00, but it's brilliant quality, and i find it really hard to find a good, opaque glitter polish!

2- most worn Hair product:
In the summer my most worn hair products is Batiste dry shampoo, my hair tends to get greasy a bit quicker in the summer, and i love to spirits a little of the dry shampoo in my roots to refresh my hair between washes. It tends to be around £1.99 - £3.00, and you can find this in drugstores/ pharmacies and supermarkets!

3- Most worn Bag:
To be honest, i do not own any popular, or designer bags, but i recently went to a vintage shop near to where i live, and picked up an over the shoulder, bag which has quickly become my most worn bag for summer! It goes with almost any outfit, because of it's simplicity and i snatched it up for a bargain of £6.99!

4- most worn shoes:
For summer, i love to wear Espadrilles, i think that they look cute, and you can find them in so many different colours and patterns, they are easy to find and are cheap ( if you get them from high street stores)! My favourite pair are my grey and White striped espadrilles, from new look! Well worth the £7.00!

5- most worn accessories:
My favourite accessories, have to be my dainty rope bracelet's from Top shop. They have tiny black beads, with roes gold yin yang and cross charms on them! They look lovely and dainty on their own, or mixed with other brackets if you prefer the "layered" look! They were £2.00 pounds each and are still available now!

6- Most worn clothing piece :
This for me are my lavender pinstriped shorts from top shop, they are high waisted, and are a great statement piece, without being too in your face! They are easy too dress up, with a blouse or shirt, or dress down, with a simple T-shirt! I know that they are now n the Top shop sale for £10.00, but both prices are completely worth it!

7- Most worn Foundation:
I don't wear foundation, however, i do occasionally wear the Dream fresh BB cream, from Maybelline's! It is so bendable, and look really natural on the skin. It only offers a light to medium coverage ( at the most ) which is ideal for me! It is perfect for the summer because it is so light on the skin. I just love it so very much!

8- Most worn Blush/ Broner:
I only really wear blusher, i am quite pale so a find it hard to find a natural looking bronzer. My most worn blush, not just in the summer, but all year round, is "pink cloud" from natural collection. it is an incredibly soft powder blush, in a lovely, baby pink shade. They    are very well pigmented, and are so affordable, at £1.99 from boots stores!

9- Most worn lip product:
In the summer months, i turn to plain old carmex! The cherry one is my favourite, it is amazing for sore, or chapped lips, and has spf 15!

10- Most worn Mascara:
I love to wear Rimmle Sexy curves mascara, i have made a blog post previously, it is a lovely, lengthening drugstore mascara, for bold, dramatic lashes! Is comes in waterproof, however i find this harder to remove. It has a nice "wet"
(oo-er) formula, and for me almost never clumps!

Taylor swift Wonderstruck Eau de Parfum <3

This perfume is a really sweet, and fruity scent with a sharp twist of citrus, with a soap type undertone, making it the perfect "young" fragrance! The packaging is really fun, it's very cute, with charms, that suit the bubbly fragrance super well, however it may not be the scent for every adult! The price, for me is a pretty reasonable, at £20.00 for 30ml and £29.00 for 50 ml (this is only the prices from Boots stores, but they vary considerably from store to store!) So this is a great scent for a teenager or young adult to ask for for Christmas, birthdays e.c.t.
It is available to get in samples, from HERE!

"Style Me Vintage" Step by step makeup guide for classic makeup looks! Written by Katie Reynolds.

This is unlike any post that i have done before, but i thought that it was worth a mention, considering that it has been a true current favourite! This is a *much to your surprise* a book full of tips, tricks and use full techniques, to re-create some classic and iconic makeup looks! This is a lovely fabric covered book which looks lovely as a coffee table book, or on a bedside table, and has amazing quality pictures, which are so helpful if you follow the written tutorial!

If you are not so into makeup, they also have Hair and Clothing vintage inspired guide books, all of them are available in Waterstones, this book is £9.99, but is often at an offer for £6.99! In this Makeup addition, they show you a comparison to the looks on the "beauty Icons" to celebrity's around now, so you can see who recreates these looks even now!

Rimmle London Sexy Curvess Mascara <3
I have always been a bit of a mascara junkie, i love switching up and buying new mascara's, Rimmle London being one of my favourite brands to buy from. They have a really wide range of mascara's, to suit whichever you like, for a really affordable price! Sexy curves mascara is a plastic brush with short bristles, and (just to my liking) is fibre free! It has three bobble type things across the wand, which really help to give my lashes a beautiful volumed appearance. It (although sounds a little gross) is quite a wet formula, and because of this is very long lasting and takes a lot of use to dry up! This mascara is exceptionally good for lengthening too, despite the fact that i have fairly long eyelashes naturally, i notice such an incredible difference when i wear this mascara.  Another plus, is the fact that it is only £7.99! Despite the amazing other points, there is on downer, during the first 2 or 3 weeks, it can tend to clump slightly if you like to layer on your mascara. However, if you run an eyelash comb or separate your lashes with an old (sanitised) mascara wand, and the problemo is sorted!  Hope you all try it out, thanks for stopping by! <3<3<3<3<3

Lush: top 3 fave products!

I love lush, i have done for about 3 years now, but i have my 3, all time favourites to share with you today! Going in no order... here they are!

1) Whoosh Shower Jelly:
this is a grapefruit and citrus jelly that is packed full of essential oils, to use on your body or hair. It makes you feel awake and happy, while leaving you cleansed and clean! You grab a pinch of this fun jelly with your fingers or on a sponge and work over your body and hair They are £3.50 for 100g. And, if you bring back 5 cleaned out and empty shower jelly pots, you get your choice of a fresh Face Mask for free!

2) Big blue Bath Bomb:
This is a unisex bomb that fizzes away in your bath, that is full of seaweed and salt that does wonders at softening your skin, lavender oil to relax and lemon oil to clear the mind. The smell is sort of indescribable, other than it smells fantastic! This bath bomb is £3.20.

 3) The comforter Bubble Bar:
This is a big bubbly, pink bar that turns your water into a fuchsia berry scented mass! If you like the Smell of Sweetie pie shower jelly, then you will be sure to adore this scent too! Break off a chunk and run under running water! This may be a whopping £4.25, but for 4-7 baths, I'm not complaining!

And those are my favourites, i repurchase and use and repurchase and reuse... i just think that they are all so fantastic! Thank you for stopping by! Love you all! <3<3<3<3
Barry M magnetic Nail polish... My thoughts!

Recently i tried out the Barry M magnetic nail polish, and was really amazed by the results!
It is so simple to achieve beautiful results that are unique every time, and it's also easy to apply and remove, it may not be too cheap but the effects are so worth it! The polish is quite long lasting, but apply a top coat for glossy nails that you can show off for days!

These amazing polishes are £4.99 from boots stores, you can choose your colour, which comes with a different pattern. You apply 1 or 2 coats of polish, then when the polish is still wet, hold the magnet (which has a very handy nail rest) over your nail for about 30 seconds...
And your done!

How To: Perfect red lip!

How i do my perfect red lip!
As you may already know, i am very far away from anything professional here, but i have found a few tips and tricks that i think are really effective!

Step 1) Exfoliate...
Mix a small amount of honey, and half a tea spoon of sugar together on a plate, in this photo it looks very strange, but don't worry, it is supposed too! Gently, with small circular motions, rub this onto your lips, this is going to remove any dry skin and leaves them feeling super soft! You can buy a lip scrub (Lush do amazing ones that come in delicious flavours!) But this DIY alternative is just as effective and if a small fraction of the price! And you can lick this off or wash it away with a towel.

Step 2) Lip balm...
Apply a liberal amount of lip balm, of any kind, to your lips, this is going hydrate and smooth your lips. This makes the lipstick application much easier! I am using a lip balm from Balance Me, it's their rose Otto intensive lip salve. It is quite expensive but it is one of my favourite lip balms around, and Glamour Magazine often give away Balance Me products.

Step 3) Line...
I am Using A lip liner from e.l.f (in"bitter") and lining my lips, making sure that i create a clear shape of my cupids bow, ready for the lipstick! In my opinion, when you use lip salve before, the liner goes on alot more smoothly and is easier to blend if you wanted to. Apply the lip liner that is a similar one to your lipstick colour, go a shade darker for more dimension if you want to. Apply the liner when your lip balm has sunken into your lips!

Step 4) The lipstick...
With a lip brush and your chosen lipstick ( i am using an MUA lipstick in shade 1) fill in the whole of your lips! Using a brush will give you a much more precise shape, and this way you can build the up the colour, to what you are happy with. Make sure to stay inside the lip liner!

Step 5) Gloss? ...

If you want more of a matte look, then leave it there... but if you want glossy lips, then choose a gloss, i am using a Collection 200, pure gloss lip shine in Dolly Mixture. I dotted it around the bottom o my lips and rubbed then together. This created a fun and classic red lip!
Then your done!

Thank you for stopping by, please feel free to leave concerns, request or questions in the comments below, Enjoy your beautiful red lips! <3<3<3<3<3<3

MUA lip boom

                                                         MUA lip boom review!

MUA have released a new product to their professional range, with Alexandra Berk... The Lip boom!
It is a £3.00 lipstick, tint and gloss in one, which is said to give you 4 different lip looks, only using your lip boom! It comes with a matte lipstick one one end, a sheer tint in the shade of the lipstick on the end of the lipstick, and a glittery gloss on the other end. They have a good range of  8 colours that suit many different skin tones, whether you like neutral lips or a pop of red...
1) "wear the lipstick on it's own for a matte look"
Pro: The lipstick is very matte ( which is fab if you like the matte look), the pigmentation is
just amazing and you can choose if you want a more subtle look or if you want a bright pop of colour!
Con: It can be a little drying on the lips, and the lasting power is not to great, it tends to rub off on me whenever i eat, drink or talk throughout the day.

2) "wear the lipstick with the gloss on the centre of the lips for a subtly shimmery lip"
Pro: It gives you definition on the lips, and is not overpowering with the shimmery gloss.
Con: I find that the gloss goes a little uneven because it has alot of quite chunky glitter in it!

3) "Wear The lipstick with the gloss over the lips"
Pro: It gives your lips a super shimmery look that gives you a super bright pop of colour, and it help to keep your lips nice and moisturised!
Con: It can get over powering with the strong glitter, and again it is really uneven when you put the gloss on

4) "wear the lipgloss on it's own for a shimmery lip look"
pro: It is a nice subtle shimmer look, that is great for summer
con: It doesn't really last long, and tends to slip away easily.

I think that this product is a really fun and cool idea, and i would happily by more of these!
P.S cheeky (1st picture) is an amazing dupe for M.A.C st Germain!

Thank you so much for stopping by! <3<3<3<3
